With these ratios, an exceptionally wide gear range is guaranteed, allowing you to maintain a comfortable cadence whether you're cruising on flat terrain, clocking up miles on dirt roads, or tackling massive climbs off-road.
Thanks to the chainline being shifted 2.5 mm outward from the frame, it is possible to use wider tires up to 42 mm in width.
Shimano is pioneering the semi-wireless route for electronic systems, where individual shifting components do not have their own small battery but are powered by a single wire from a battery hidden in the seat tube, ensuring much longer functionality and battery life.
