When the trail turns into roots and rocks, you want to hear your tires, not your chain. The Shimano RD-M8120 SGS derailleur stabilizer unit restores a calm feel to your derailleur and more secure chain management.
Restores proper function of the Shimano Shadow RD+ stabilization mechanism without having to replace the entire rear derailleur.
Helps reduce chain slap and unwanted cage movement when riding off-road, making the drivetrain feel quieter and more consistent.
It’s an original Shimano spare part, so it fits the intended derailleur without improvisation or unnecessary compromises.
Ideal for routine servicing as well as repairs after damage, when you want to get shifting back in shape quickly.
Part designation: RD-M8120-SGS.
Compatibility: Shimano Deore XT RD-M8120-SGS rear derailleur with long SGS cage.
Derailleur technology: Shimano Shadow RD+.
Package contents: derailleur stabilizer unit.
This stabilizer unit is a small part that has a big impact on chain stability and overall drivetrain refinement. You’ll appreciate it when the stabilization stops working as it should and the chain gets louder. With an original Shimano solution, compatibility and the expected derailleur performance are preserved.
