Shimano RT-CL800 brake disc 203 mm, center lock, Ice Tech, outer lock ring

Description

When the trail or downhill run goes full throttle, you want brakes that keep their power under pressure. The Shimano RT-CL800 brake rotor 203 mm helps you stay calm and keep control in your hands.

Main benefits

The Ice Technologies FREEZA construction dissipates heat faster, so braking performance remains consistent even on longer descents. This makes brake modulation easier to manage and the bike behaves predictably.

The Center Lock mount installs via a spline interface and a lock ring, saving time during replacement. The connection is solid, precise, and transfers force without unnecessary play.

The 203 mm rotor diameter increases braking torque, which you’ll appreciate with a heavier rider, in steep terrain, or with a loaded bike. Braking feels more confident, even when you’re riding on the limit for a long time.

Compatibility with both metallic compound pads and organic pads gives you freedom to tune the brake feel. It’s easy to choose whether you want a sharper bite or quieter operation.

Technical specifications

The rotor has a diameter of 203 mm and is designed for disc brakes.

The rotor mounting is Center Lock type with an external lock ring.

The rotor is made of stainless steel and aluminum.

The complete set weighs approximately 0.178 kg.

Shimano RT-CL800 is a brake rotor for riders who need stable braking on long descents and in changing weather. It combines effective cooling, a stiff mounting interface, and reasonable weight.
