Shimano RT-MT900 brake rotor 140 mm, center lock, Ice Tech, outer lock ring

Description

When the trail drops into a steep descent or the road demands long, sustained braking, you want confidence in every pull of the lever. The Shimano RT-MT900 brake rotor 140 mm keeps braking performance calm and predictable, even as temperatures rise.

This rotor was built for demanding conditions and precise modulation of braking force. In practice, you’ll appreciate consistent bite, less fluctuation in performance, and the feeling that the bike brakes the same way every time.

Main benefits

The Ice Technologies FREEZA construction sheds heat faster, so braking performance stays consistent even during extended braking. It also helps reduce pad heat build-up.

Center Lock mounting makes installation easier and improves the accuracy of the fit on the hub. The result is a stiff setup that feels confident under braking.

The 140 mm rotor diameter makes sense when you want low weight and quick response. It’s suitable for road, gravel, and selected MTB bikes.

The external lock ring can be tightened with a standard tool for external splines. A practical solution if you often swap wheels or do your own servicing at home.
