Men's MTB shoes with a highly grippy sole and optimized tread pattern, designed primarily for off-road but suitable for all cycling activities.
ULTREAD EX sole with a pronounced tread and robustly shaped toe for extra toe protection is ideal for challenging terrain both on and off the bike.
EX midsole with layered EVA foam is designed to perfectly absorb heel impacts, enhancing comfort not only while walking.
SPD cleats are positioned in the middle part of the shoe for maximum comfort while pedaling.
With the BOA L6E dial, you can quickly and precisely adjust the fit.
We recommend purchasing Shimano shoes half a size to a full size larger than your usual size.
BOA is a technology developed by Boa Technology Inc. This patented technology is based on three integral parts: a micro-adjustable dial in the form of a rotating wheel, a thin extra-strong lace and low-friction lace guides. This system is an effective way to tighten shoes and other equipment across many sports (golf, winter sports, cycling, athletics, hiking, and others). BOA Technology Inc. is headquartered in Denver, CO with offices in Austria, Hong Kong, China, South Korea and Japan.
EVA, literally Ethylene-vinyl acetate is also known as Polyethylene-vinyl acetate i.e. PEVA. It is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, as the name suggests. The weight of the vinyl acetate component is in the range of 10 to 40% and the remainder is ethylene itself. Its physical properties is as an elastomeric polymer, i.e. a substance that excels in high elasticity. Thanks to its unique composition, it ranks among the most light yet flexible and soft materials. It is therefore not a classic thermoplastic, which is often commonly used for the production of many products around us.
