When the pace picks up and the surface changes from smooth asphalt to gravel, you want brakes that respond confidently and calmly. Shimano Tiagra BR-4770 hydraulic front brake caliper gives your hands precise control even on more demanding descents.
The front two-piston caliper delivers braking power smoothly, so the bike remains predictable even on gravel. Lever response is consistent and stable.
Flat Mount mounting keeps the caliper close to the frame or fork. The result is a clean look and secure seating at the mounting points.
The hydraulic system with mineral oil provides consistent operation and a refined brake engagement. Suitable for both road and gravel use, where conditions can vary.
Direct hose connection simplifies installation and service. It makes sense when you want a functional solution without unnecessary complexity.
The caliper’s technical designation is BR-4770.
The caliper type is a two-piston hydraulic caliper for front use.
The caliper mounting standard is Flat Mount.
Resin brake pads are included, and the package contains 1x brake caliper.
Shimano Tiagra BR-4770 is a front hydraulic brake caliper for riders who want confident braking on the road and on gravel. It combines a compact design with a two-piston construction and clean Flat Mount mounting.
If you’re building or refreshing a gravel or road bike, you’ll appreciate the smooth modulation and easy installation thanks to the direct hose connection. Overall, it feels technically clean and reliably built for the long term.
