Redesigned Shimano Deore XT BR-M8100 hydraulic disc brake.
Like the previous model, the BR-M8100 is designed for XC and marathon bikes and brings several improvements. The lever has been improved, and it now features a new clamp that attaches the brake to the handlebars. This ergonomically shaped two-finger lever has also been optimised, requiring less effort to squeeze while ensuring a quicker linear response of the pistons to lever movement.
The calliper features a classic two-piston design and cooling pads. The hydraulic brake system is filled with proven mineral oil.
Warning: The brake comes with a J-Kit, i.e. a filled line with a calliper and a sealed lever. The advantage is that the hose can be shortened to the required length before installation and then easily connected.
