Confidence at the rear wheel turns a steep descent into a controlled ride and makes technical climbs easier to manage with your weight distribution. Shimano XT BR-MT805 helps you brake precisely, even when the trail changes from smooth to rough within just a few meters.
The rear hydraulic caliper with Flat Mount mounting delivers a clean installation and a compact look on modern frames. You’ll appreciate it when building a lightweight bike as well as on a trail setup.
The two-piston design provides easy-to-read power modulation, so the rear wheel doesn’t “lock up” as easily and holds its line better. Braking performance stays consistent during long braking and in changing conditions.
Included are K04S Metal without Fin pads, which are well suited for regular load and wet conditions. The metal compound maintains consistent performance even at higher temperatures.
The caliper is designed for tidy hose routing and easy servicing. The One Way Bleeding system speeds up maintenance and improves lever feel.
Caliper model designation: BR-MT805 for a rear hydraulic disc brake.
Caliper type: two-piston caliper for balanced braking power and sensitive modulation.
Caliper mount: Flat Mount for the rear triangle of compatible frames.
Hose type: SM-BH90-SBM for the correct connection within the Shimano system.
Shimano XT BR-MT805 is a rear brake caliper for riders who want precise modulation and consistent performance on a mountain bike. It combines a compact Flat Mount design with durable metal pads.
In the box you’ll get the caliper, a set of pads, and mounting bolts, giving you the essentials for a clean installation. It’s suitable for competitive cross-country as well as fast trail riding, where control in every corner matters.
