With its compact rounded design and high light output, the Silva Seek 420 headlamp is a practical tool for most outdoor activities – from hiking and running to camping.
The Silva Intelligent Light technology combines two white LED lights with lenses that create both a wide and long-distance beam simultaneously. This results in more natural lighting and better spatial perception.
The main light output reaches up to 420 lumens, and the headlamp offers three levels of white light and a red diode for subdued, non-intrusive lighting, ideal for use in tents or in company, for example.
The power supply is flexible – you can use either three AAA alkaline batteries or a Silva Hybrid 4.6 Wh rechargeable Li-ion battery (batteries not included).
The headlamp is equipped with a battery level indicator using colored diodes: a green diode lights up when the headlamp is turned off with more than 50% capacity, or a red one if below this threshold.
There is also a button lock that prevents accidental activation, e.g., when carrying it in a backpack.
The comfortable elastic headband has a width of 25 mm and features an inner silicone strip for better stability during movement. The circumference can be easily adjusted to different head sizes with two quick-adjust buckles.
The headlamp is made from recycled plastics, and its design complies with the IPX5 standard, ensuring resistance to water jets from all directions.

The beam distance is specified as the distance at which the light intensity drops to 0.25 lux. This is approximately the light intensity provided by the full moon on a clear night.
