The Modal fabric is made from beech wood, is pleasant to the touch and boasts excellent properties. A modal fabric of the same weight as a cotton fabric can hold 50% more moisture, so the body will be that much drier. Modal holds the dye and does not bleed even in hot water, so the fabric does not change color even after many washes. Modal also doesn't pill like we know cotton does, and modal fabric doesn't shrink either. When wearing this material, you will find that the modal fabric is gentler on the body than the cotton fabric.
