The SORACTE women's pants are primarily designed for active female skiers, especially ski mountaineers and cross-country skiers, but they can also be worn for skating or running in cold and windy conditions.
The pants' material is crafted from two different materials for optimal properties. The front features a thin four-way elastic Superlite softshell with a membrane rated at 10000/10000, which blocks out the wind and is relatively waterproof, while the back is made of a highly breathable soft material that aids in thermoregulation and facilitates movement while ensuring wearing comfort.
The softshell is composed of 88% polyamide and 12% elastane and is inherently stretchy; however, for easier knee bending, it is pre-bent and divided into two parts. The back material is even more flexible, consisting of 76% polyamide and 24% elastane.
To ensure the pants stay perfectly in place, SORACTE features an elastic waistband with two silicone strips affixed to the rear part of the waistband.
The pants have a zipper on the outer side reaching from the bottom almost to the knee. When opened, the pants can widen by approx. 7 cm and can be put on over ski boots.
The outer side of the thighs has 30 cm long zippers designed for increased ventilation during higher winter temperatures or very active movement. To prevent snow from entering during open ventilation, a mesh is sewn inside.
