The SORACTE women's pants are primarily designed for active female skiers, mainly ski-mountaineers and cross-country skiers, but they can also be used for skating or running in cold, windy conditions.
The pants are cut from two different materials for ideal properties. The front is made of thin four-way elastic Superlite softshell with a membrane with parameters 10000/10000, which is windproof and relatively waterproof, and the back is made of highly breathable soft material, which helps with thermoregulation and facilitates movement while maintaining wearing comfort.
The softshell is made of 88% polyamide and 12% elastane and is inherently elastic, but to simplify knee bending, it is additionally pre-bent in cut and divided into two parts. The back material is even more elastic thanks to its composition of 76% polyamide and 24% elastane.
To ensure that the pants stay in place, the SORACTE have an elastic waistband with two silicone strips glued in the back drawstring part.
The pants have an external zipper running from the bottom almost to the knee. When opened, the pants widen by about 7 cm, making it possible to wear them over ski-mountaineering boots.
On the outer thighs, there are 30 cm long zippers intended for enhanced ventilation during higher winter temperatures or very active movement. To prevent snow from entering during open ventilation, a mesh is sewn inside.
