With the Smith Sidekick JR MIPS kids’ helmet Matte Forest, you can head out on your bike with more peace of mind—even if it occasionally ends in the dust. Kids get their freedom, and you get the confidence that their head is protected during play, commuting, and family rides.
MIPS technology helps reduce rotational forces during an angled impact, which is a common scenario with kids’ falls. As a result, the protection works more comprehensively than with a standard construction.
The fit is designed for young riders and stays comfortable even during longer wear, when kids focus more on fun than on gear. The helmet is suitable for mountain trails, riding in the city, and leisure time.
The matte green Matte Forest color looks understated, so the helmet won’t feel out of place on the way to school or to an after-school club. At the same time, it matches most kids’ bikes and clothing.
The Sidekick JR model line is built around ease of use, so putting it on is quick even when no one wants to waste time. Kids and parents alike will appreciate that in everyday routines.
Protection technology used: MIPS.
Helmet type: kids’.
Available size 48–52 cm (YXS) for a smaller head circumference.
Available size 51–55 cm (S) for a larger head circumference.
Smith Sidekick JR MIPS is a kids’ cycling helmet for situations where you’re switching between trails, bike paths, and city streets. Thanks to MIPS and its practical design, you can focus on the ride instead of constantly adjusting gear. Matte Forest adds a subtle look that often suits kids more than loud colors.
