As Sram introduces the new Apex groupsets, it also comes with the new Apex chains. As with the higher-end groupsets, this one is flattop and includes a special chain connector.
The Flattop technology is much more than just a distinctive look. It allows all Sram 12-speed chains to be lighter, stronger and more durable than any other. The Apex chain uses the same construction as the Rival and Force chains with a polished grey finish. The pins are solid.
