The SRAM Eagle Transmission 1987 set celebrates 38 years of innovation and cycling development by SRAM. It includes a selection of top-tier components tuned for maximum performance, low weight, and unique aesthetics. Every detail underscores the exclusive nature of this collection, suitable for both custom bike builds and collectors.
Included is a cassette based on XX SL architecture, which is 25g lighter while maintaining a 10–52 tooth range. The crankset with an integrated power meter is derived from the X0 T-Type model, offering precise dual-sided watt measurement, high durability, and an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio. The AXS derailleur combines the robust cage of the XX with the lightweight body of the XX SL, ensuring precise and reliable shifting.
The collection also includes a chain with hollow links and pins surface-treated with Hard Chrome, featuring the handcrafted signature of SRAM founder Stan Day. It also includes the AXS Pod Ultimate controllers for fully customizable operation and a perfect cockpit. The package also contains accessories: two chainrings (32 and 34 teeth), a special tool for their replacement, two AXS batteries, and a USB-C charger for charging four batteries at once.
