Superior BLOX 6.2 T trekking bike Gloss Metallic Black is a trekking bike for commuting, city riding, and trips along cycle paths. Frame and geometry

The frame is made from Alu 6061 T6 alloy with Double Butted tubing and Advanced Touring Geometry. Integrated cable routing makes it easier to fit accessories and keeps the look clean. The bottom bracket uses a BSA threaded interface, and the frame is designed for trekking use with a 120 kg weight limit. The FSA NO.80 headset with an ICR solution mates to a straight 1-1/8" fork steerer.

Components

Drivetrain: Shifting is handled by a Shimano SL-M315 on the right and a Shimano Altus SL-M315 on the left; in practice, it’s a 2x8 setup. The rear derailleur is a Shimano Acera RD-M3020 and the front derailleur is a Shimano Tourney FD-TY606-L, with a microSHIFT CS-H081 11-34T cassette. The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-UN101 for a BSA thread.

Brakes: Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes deliver consistent performance in rain and in traffic. The rotors are 160 mm front and rear.

Wheels and tyres: The wheelset is built on STARS J25D rims, 36 holes, for disc brakes. Shimano HB-QC300 and FH-QC300-HM hubs use quick releases, and the Schwalbe Delta Cruiser Plus tyres measure 47-622.

Cockpit: ONE Alloy handlebars with 30 mm rise support a more upright position and better control in city traffic. A ONE stem with a 35° angle is paired with a Selle Royal Vivo saddle and a ONE Sport 30.9 mm seatpost.

Ride characteristics

The touring geometry is aimed at a natural riding position, reducing pressure on the wrists and shoulders on longer rides. The SR Suntour NEX-DS suspension fork with 50 mm of travel smooths out kerbs and rough asphalt. The 47-622 tyres add volume and stability, so the bike can handle gravel on cycle paths as well. The hydraulic disc brakes maintain good modulation even with a fully loaded rack.
