Superior F.L.Y. 20 VB kids’ bike Gloss Yellow is a children’s mountain bike with 20" wheels for riding in the city as well as on paved roads. It’s built on an aluminum frame and a simple 1x7 drivetrain that makes operation quicker. It belongs to the lightweight sport class, where weight, reliability, and easy servicing are key.
The frame is made from Alu 6061 T6 Double Butted aluminum alloy with Advanced Junior Geometry for kids. The 1xOptimized concept is designed for a single chainring and cleaner chain routing. The bottom bracket uses a BB BSA thread, which simplifies servicing and replacement. Internal cable routing protects the cables from dirt and keeps the clean look in Gloss Yellow.
Drivetrain: The Shimano SL-RV200-7R Revoshift shifter controls 7 speeds with a Shimano Tourney RD-TY200 rear derailleur. The Shimano CS-HG200 cassette has a 12–32T range, and ONE Sport cranks carry a 28T chainring.
Brakes: Tektro V-Brakes have aluminum arms and a direct feel for easy modulation. The disc-free setup reduces adjustment requirements and weight.
Wheels and tires: The wheels use STARS J19SZ rims with 20 holes and ONE Sport hubs with quick releases. Schwalbe CX Comp 20x1,75" tires with KevlarGuard and a reflective strip boost confidence on asphalt and gravel.
Cockpit: The cockpit consists of ONE Alloy handlebars and ONE Junior Grip grips with a smaller diameter for a child’s hand. A Selle Royal Junior saddle is paired with a ONE Alloy seatpost with a 27,2 mm diameter.
The aluminum frame with double-butted tubes keeps the weight low at 7,95 kg and helps with starts and gentle climbs. The rigid aluminum fork improves tracking precision on smooth surfaces. The 1,75" tire width adds stability and filters small bumps without the need for suspension. V-Brake brakes allow controlled deceleration in dry conditions and are predictable when learning braking technique.
This bike is intended for children moving up to the 20" platform who want a lightweight MTB for everyday riding as well as trips with their parents. Thanks to the 1x7 drivetrain, the rider can focus on cadence and line choice rather than selecting chainrings. Compared to heavier kids’ bikes with a suspension fork, it prioritizes low weight and direct steering.
