Superior XP 6.1 mountain bike Gloss Brush Alu/Black is a hardtail for mountain biking with a focus on sporty XC and fast trail rides. In the 2026 model year, it targets riders looking for a balance of price and functional components for regular riding. It’s built on an aluminum frame, an air fork, and a 1x12 drivetrain.
The frame is made from Alu X6 Ultralite alloy with Race Geometry and internal cable routing. The BB92 standard with a PressFit bottom bracket supports stiffness in the crank area under load. The UDH derailleur hanger simplifies service and expands compatibility with modern derailleurs. The Boost 148x12 mm rear axle increases rear-end stiffness and tracking precision.
Drivetrain: Shimano Deore SL-M6100-IR shifting runs in a 1x12 configuration. The Shimano Deore CS-M6100 cassette has a 10–51-tooth range, and the bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-MT500PA PressFit.
Brakes: Shimano MT410 hydraulic disc brakes use Shimano SM-RT30 rotors. Rotor diameter is 180 mm front and 160 mm rear.
Wheels and tires: STARS R27-1M rims are tubeless ready and have 32 holes. Schwalbe Rapid Rob KevlarGuard tires measure 29x2,25.
Cockpit: ONE Race aluminum handlebars have a 31,8 mm diameter and 5 mm rise. A ONE Race 27,2 mm seatpost is paired with a Sele Royal SRX 148 mm saddle and ONE Sport Lock-On grips.
The combination of 29" wheels and sporty race geometry supports speed on gravel as well as in tight XC sections. The SR Suntour XCR32 Air fork with 120 mm travel broadens usability beyond smooth courses and helps keep the front wheel planted. Boost axles and thru-axle wheel retention support precise tracking under braking and through berms. The 1x12 drivetrain with a 10–51-tooth range simplifies gear choice across changing terrain.
This bike is designed for sport-oriented riders who want a hardtail for training, marathons, and brisk off-road rides. It will appeal to cyclists who prefer the simplicity of a 1x12 drivetrain and a straightforward, service-friendly setup without rear suspension. In its class, it makes sense where frame stiffness, cassette range, and the confidence of hydraulic brakes are what matter.
