All TIME bikes are designed with a focus on performance. For road cycling, the ideal combination of low weight, high efficiency, and quick response is achieved through short chainstays and robust torsional stiffness. Tire width also plays a role – current analyses of rolling resistance and rider efficiency agree on a 28C width as optimal for modern racing or training on paved roads.

Braided Carbon Structure (BCS)

Weaving dry fibers into complex bidirectional "socks". These fibers are easy to tune with various materials – TIME currently selects from 16 fibers for perfect alignment with our layups. This process also allows for something unheard of in the cycling world; continuous fibers that run the entire length of the structure. In a standard prepreg layup, fibers end where the sheets end, creating inherent weaknesses.

Bio-Based Dyneema

In recent years, Dyneema has revolutionized the world of cycling, but few manufacturers have managed to incorporate this advanced material into their products. Most brands are limited to the regular prepreg sheets offered by major carbon suppliers, and the high temperatures used in curing prepreg frames exceed the recommended maximum for Dyneema® fibers. TIME is different because we weave our own Braided Carbon Structures (BCS) and have been able to test the Bio-Based Dyneema® fibers since their market entry. Additionally, the lower resin temperature in the RTM injection process falls within the recommended range.

Compatibility with single and double chainrings doesn't have to mean exposed holes in the frame or an abandoned, empty front derailleur mount. With the Time Single Cover, your 1X setup looks as sleek and perfect as the rest of your bike.

Forged Carbon

With 20x the lifespan of steel or alloy, we use forged carbon where others install heavier aluminum parts. A 60% fiber content allows for drilling and tapping without cracking, processes that are much more challenging with prepreg construction.
