Tires and Tubulars
We divide tires into several categories:
For MTB mountain bikes there are 26", 29" and 27.5" tires. For trekking, cyclocross or gravel bikes you need a 28" tire (also designated ETRTO 622 or 700c). Road tires are marked 700c or ETRTO 622 followed by a number such as 25 or 32 which indicates the width of the tire. Kids' and BMX tires are arranged according by size in inches (eg 12", 16", 20").
