When you need to carry gear on the road or gravel, you want a solution that holds firmly and doesn’t interfere with the bike’s handling. TOPEAK axle for Zi:RAK rack Thru- 12x1.0 mm delivers a clean rack mounting option with no compromises.
The axle fully replaces the original thru-axle while also creating a solid mounting point for the Topeak Zi:RAK rack. The result is a stable setup that doesn’t look out of place even on a road bike.
Spacers are included, letting you fine-tune the fit for your specific frame. The rack then sits straight, without stress and without unnecessary play.
The aluminum construction combines low weight with the strength needed for everyday commuting as well as longer trips. On the ride, you’ll appreciate that the bike remains composed and confident.
Compatibility is aimed at road and gravel bikes with 700C wheels, so there’s no need to improvise with mismatched parts. The mounting looks clean and feels like a natural match for the Zi:RAK rack.
Intended use is the Topeak Zi:RAK rack for 700C road and gravel bikes.
The thru-axle type has a diameter of 12 × 1.0 mm.
Axle length is 170 mm.
Axle weight is 0.055 kg, including the supplied spacers.
This axle makes mounting the Zi:RAK rack make sense, because it’s designed specifically for this system and matches the geometry of road and gravel frames. You get a secure, predictable attachment suitable for everyday use and travel.
With the spacers, you can fine-tune everything so the rack fits precisely and the bike retains its natural feel. The whole solution stays lightweight and mechanically simple.
