Trickstuff Standard 640 brake pads for Formula brakes

Description

The moment the trail drops into a steep descent or the road just seems to go on forever, you want confidence in your brakes. Trickstuff Standard 640 brake pads for Formula brakes are exactly the kind of upgrade you’ll notice right away – at the lever and in the peace of mind it brings. When braking is predictable and free of unpleasant fluctuations, riding is simply more fun.

Main benefits

Trickstuff Standard 640 are brake pads designed as a well-balanced compromise between high performance and long service life, making them suitable for everyday riding as well as more demanding trips. The organic/polymer compound helps maintain consistent braking power and sensitive modulation, so you can easily control braking even on slippery surfaces. You’ll also appreciate their solid resistance under prolonged load, when the brakes are pushed hard on long descents or during repeated braking. Overall, these are pads that feel predictable and stable – and with disc brakes, that’s often what matters most.

Technical parameters

The product’s technical designation is Standard 640, and the pads are intended for disc brakes with the Formula Cura 4 caliper. The foundation is a steel backing plate, which holds its shape and handles mechanical stress during braking well. The friction compound is an organic / polymer formulation, focused on smooth engagement and clear, controllable braking. The pads are a great first step in tuning your brakes if you want to improve brake feel without changing rotors or levers.

Conclusion

If you run Formula Cura 4 brakes and are looking for pads that deliver stable performance and respectable durability, Standard 640 makes a lot of practical sense. They’re built for riders who want consistent braking across conditions and value a reliable lever feel on every ride.
