Ultra-light helmet for toddlers learning to ride a bike.
The Inmould construction consists of a lightweight EPS inner core and an outer polycarbonate shell, complemented by 8 ventilation holes for excellent airflow and an insect net.
You can easily adjust the size using the Monomatic, IAS, and FAS systems.
Basic padding can be removed and washed if necessary.

In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
EPS is expanded polystyrene. It is a strong and rigid material with a cellular structure, composed of 2% polystyrene and the rest is air.
The fastening mechanism located under the chin has several positions and can be easily adjusted with one hand while riding. Its flat design prevents twisting in the hands. Monomatic® is, without exception, standard equipment on all Uvex helmets.
The quick adjustment system of the helmet straps allows for optimal helmet position adjustment. The helmet sits firmly on the head at all times and the straps stay in place.
