Sports glasses with excellent optical properties and 100% UV protection.
Self-tinting lens is complemented by an anti-fog layer - Uvex Supravision - and ventilation openings. Additionally, the lens can be easily cleaned of moisture and fingerprints.
The ends of the frames and the nose bridge can be adjusted as needed.
Weight: 25 g.
Auto-tinting photochromic lenses for all lighting conditions. The self-tinting lenses in Uvex sunglasses automatically and continuously measure their translucency between light and dark in a very short time - for optimal vision in all weather conditions.
The unique Uvex Supravision® anti-fog coating ensures the best visibility without fogging. Under test conditions, 200% anti-fog protection is achieved - twice as long as required by standards. The Uvex Supravision® surface treatment is applied to the inside of the glasses and prevents fogging even with large temperature changes. The optical quality of the lens is not affected. For greater safety and clear vision.
UV radiation type A. UVA rays have the longest wavelength, they tan the skin and thus contribute to its premature aging. This type of radiation has a lower energy than type B radiation and penetrates the deepest into the eye. However, there is no clear opinion on its harmfulness.
Type B UV radiation. This type of radiation is partially shielded by the ozone layer, but part of it falls on the earth's surface. UVB rays are responsible for burning the skin and are the cause of skin cancer and eye problems such as cataracts. Extreme exposure to UVB radiation can lead to serious eye damage (e.g. so-called snow blindness).
UV C. This is the UV with the highest energy content and potentially the most harmful to the eyes and skin. Fortunately, the atmospheric ozone layer blocks out virtually all type C UV radiation.
