Speed up with Uvex Ramp glasses, which combine a striking shield design, top-notch protection, and a modern sporty look. Sharp. Strong. Stylish. These sunglasses are made for those who want full vision, full style, and a full ride.
Mirror cylindrical lenses provide an expanded field of view and sharp contrast, giving you a perfect overview in every situation. Of course, there is 100% protection against UVA, UVB, and UVC radiation up to 400 nm. The mirror coating additionally blocks infrared radiation and enhances visual comfort even in intense sunlight.
Ergonomic soft temple tips ensure a secure fit without uncomfortable pressure. Flexible soft nose pads adapt to the shape of the face, providing comfortable, stable placement even during dynamic movement.
Key features:
Uvex Ramp is the ideal choice for sports, an active lifestyle, and everyday wear when you want to look confident and have perfect visibility.
UV radiation type A. UVA rays have the longest wavelength, they tan the skin and thus contribute to its premature aging. This type of radiation has a lower energy than type B radiation and penetrates the deepest into the eye. However, there is no clear opinion on its harmfulness.
Type B UV radiation. This type of radiation is partially shielded by the ozone layer, but part of it falls on the earth's surface. UVB rays are responsible for burning the skin and are the cause of skin cancer and eye problems such as cataracts. Extreme exposure to UVB radiation can lead to serious eye damage (e.g. so-called snow blindness).
UV C. This is the UV with the highest energy content and potentially the most harmful to the eyes and skin. Fortunately, the atmospheric ozone layer blocks out virtually all type C UV radiation.
