Uvex Rise Pro Mips is a lightweight, comfortable, and safe helmet with MIPS technology.
It meets the strictest ProTour rider requirements for major world races. It provides perfect protection in the event of an accident, has improved aerodynamics thanks to the outer Double Shell, MIPS AirNODE construction, and also offers better ventilation. All of this places the helmet among the top models in the current peloton.
It is the only ProTour helmet manufactured in Europe, specifically at the Uvex factory in Fuerth, Germany. The helmet has 11 ventilation openings, which sufficiently ventilate the head even during hot summer days. The shell is multi Inmould.
The weight starts at 270 g and may be slightly higher with a larger size.
Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet.
