Road cycling without compromise has a name – Uvex Ultimate Surge Carbon MIPS. This professional racing helmet combines 100 years of know-how, racing DNA, and precise German engineering into a whole designed for absolute top performance.
The helmet is built on an ultralight multi inmould construction with a carbon outer shell, ensuring maximum strength with minimal weight. Every gram has been optimized for speed, efficiency, and performance at the highest level.
The integrated Mips® Air Node safety system provides added protection for the skull and brain during rotational impacts. The aerodynamic shape, fine-tuned with CFD simulations, significantly reduces air resistance, while the thoughtfully designed ventilation channels ensure efficient airflow even at maximum speed.
The Uvex 3D IAS Pro system ensures a perfect fit, allowing for precise adjustment of height and circumference. Ultralight straps with Y-dividers keep the helmet stable in place even at high speeds.
Revolutionary CCubed® Cooling Effect – cooling performance without compromise
Exclusive CCubed® padding, developed in collaboration with the uvex brand, brings a new level of moisture regulation and breathability.
Instead of standard polyurethane, PET fiber is used, creating a capillary effect. Sweat is immediately wicked away from the skin to the dry parts of the lining where it evaporates. This process naturally cools the surface of the head and ensures noticeably higher comfort even at maximum performance.

Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
As with the In-Mold construction, polystyrene is compressed and injected into the polycarbonate shell, forming an isolated whole. The difference is the use of the inside of the helmet and the back for more protection of the skull.
