Wireless VDO R5 GPS Computer offers more than 34 essential metrics for your ride. The R5 computer displays current speed, daily distance, ride time, clock, average and maximum speed, total distance and ride time, among others, while also providing smart navigation features and compatibility with e-bikes.
The high-contrast 2.4-inch display with extra-large numbers is easy to read even while riding. The highlighted blue square at the top right of the display offers a new way of viewing workout data. The built-in air pressure sensor provides reliable altitude information using barometric measurement, determines ascents and descents, allowing for precise route tracking. The VDO R5 also enables a graphical representation of your route's elevation profile. The VDO R5 GPS computer can easily pair with the SIGMA RIDE smartphone app. With this app, you can import routes from other sources or head to a specific destination using the “Search & Go” function with its detailed turn-by-turn navigation. These are displayed on the computer screen as arrows, while your phone stays safely tucked away in your pocket or backpack.
The R5 GPS also integrates with many e-bike models. The computer connects to the compatible e-bike system and displays the current motor support level, battery status, and other important data on the screen.
Thanks to the "Smart Notifications" feature, you can stay connected to the outside world even while cycling. Incoming call and text message notifications from your smartphone appear on the computer's display.
