Thanks to low weight and high durability provided by carbon material, the EC70 AX wheels are prepared for gravel races. The Easton Overland team and SDG Muscle Monster riders tested these wheels, competing with prototypes at DK200 (Dirty Kanza, 200 miles), where Amity Rockwell earned the title of DK Queen and Amanda Nauman finished 6th. At Lost and Found 2019, Michael Van Den Ham finished in 4th place and Craig Richey took 6th place.
