The Wolf Tooth chainring offers a two-in-one solution. The oval chainring, sized at 40T, behaves like a 42T when pedaling hard, while it functions as a 38T during climbs.
Power Zone: the larger diameter area of the chainring engages the chain at the optimal point during the downward pedal stroke
Recovery Zone: is the weakest part of the pedal stroke, where the oval shape maximizes your efficiency
The oval chainring provides a smoother and more efficient pedal rotation, resulting in better traction due to more stable torque on the rear wheel.
This chainring can replace any chainring and spider or direct mount chainring on SRAM cranks, including DUB cranks. The chainring is secured with three bolts to the back of the spider at the axle.
The chainring is not compatible with SRAM cranks with 8-bolt direct mount.
