Not all young future professionals start their cycling careers at the same time. While the woom 1 balance bike is designed primarily for young children from one and a half years old, Woom 1 PLUS perfectly sets children in motion from three years old, introducing them to the world of cycling through play. This balance bike comes including the SURFBOARD footrest, where little performers can place their feet to surf with their balance bike as if on clouds.

The woom 1 PLUS balance bike features a lightweight and well-crafted AA-6061 aluminum frame with butted tubes and beginner-friendly geometry, featuring 14″ wheels, an extremely low upper frame tube, a very low seat position, long wheelbase, and steering geometry that forgives mistakes and ensures stability, good balance, and greater riding enjoyment. The super lightweight stem made from forged aluminum is 40 mm in length with a +15° angle, designed without protruding bolts to be friendly to every child's knee, and equipped with two Allen bolts (5 mm) for secure handlebar attachment.

Wide, ergonomically adapted, and lightweight aluminum handlebars in BMX style with high-rise for maximum adjustment range, sandblasted and black anodized, have a grip area diameter of 19 mm, suitable even for very small hands, and a width of 500 mm. The woom Ergogrip grips are the smallest of their kind with an ergonomically shaped surface made from non-toxic material and ends with an extra-large diameter for better protection, firmly attached to the handlebars with a screw-lock mechanism.

The balance bike is equipped with two independently operated mini V-brakes with a child-specific lever ratio and an ergonomically fitting brake lever with reach adjustment, suitable even for very small child's hands, and high-quality Jagwire cables with reduced friction and smooth operation. The rear brake features a conspicuous green brake lever and matching colored brake pad to prevent confusion between the front and rear brakes.

The wheels are equipped with super lightweight Soopa Doopa Hoops aluminum rims with narrow, lightweight aluminum hubs featuring sealed bearings and an especially narrow rear hub for extra foot space. Assembly and disassembly are easy using a 5 mm Allen key, and 16 lightweight, extra-robust crossed stainless steel spokes ensure strength and stability. Schwalbe Little Joe 14 x 1.4″ woom edition tires with good cushioning, low rolling resistance, and secure grip are fitted with car-like valves for easy inflation at any service station and reflective stripes on the sides for optimal visibility even in poor light conditions.

The ergonomically adapted saddle is designed with children's pelvic bones in mind and made from non-toxic material with side protection for leaning against house walls. The woom footrest made from high-quality maple plywood is varnished and equipped with anti-slip tape, and is already pre-installed on the balance bike.
