The Woom 3 Red is a designer kids' bike suitable for 105 to 120 cm tall cyclists aged 4 to 6 years. The Automagic version is equipped with a 2-speed automatic gearbox in the rear hub.
Its sophisticated geometry and very low weight make it a great training partner for learning basic riding skills. The upright position behind the handlebars helps maintain balance and offers a perfect view of what's happening in the immediate surroundings. This makes it easier for your little cyclist to take in the world around him or her and discover, little by little, all that cycling entails.
Shifting gears like a wave of a magic wand...
Young riders will quickly fall in love with the Woom 3 Automagic. They'll find first gear easier to ride uphill and reach higher speeds in second gear without having to pedal too fast. The hub gear changes gears automatically - depending on your riding speed and without any manual shifting! It shifts into second gear at around 11 km/h.
Quality base...
This bike is based on a lightweight aluminium frame with geometry that has been designed with the specific needs of small cyclists in mind. Safety is paramount here, but the fact that cycling must be fun above all else has not been forgotten. The frame is very stable thanks to its low centre of gravity and customised fork preload, but it remains easy to handle, not least in corners. Getting behind the handlebars is made easier by the significantly lowered top tube. Of course, the multi-layered paintwork easily withstands the vast majority of beginner's carambles.
...and perfectly thought out details
Woom kids' bikes are thought out down to the last detail. Whether we're talking about colour-coded brake levers designed for tiny children's hands, a lock to prevent accidental handlebar spinning, or a stem with a grip that curves under the handlebars so no one can injure themselves on it, everything is designed for easy handling and maximum safety. Increased attention has also been paid to the contact points, especially the saddle and grips, which contribute significantly to the overall feeling of the ride, and last but not least the cranks and pedals. The cranks are designed to match the movement mechanics of small cyclists, be it the length of the cranks, the distance between the two cranks or the number of chainring teeth.
