Woom 6 EXPLORE kids’ bike neon pink is a lightweight children’s trekking and all-terrain bike on 26" wheels for riders from around age 10. It’s built around an aluminum frame, disc brakes, and a simple 1×8 drivetrain for mixed surfaces. It sits in the higher performance class of kids’ bikes, with an emphasis on low weight and ergonomics.
The frame is made from AA 6061 aluminum alloy with butted tubes and a boxy profile that supports stiffness while keeping weight low. The geometry is kid-specific and sporty, with a slight kink in the top tube for more confident handling and a lower standover height. The headset is a fully integrated 1" unit with sealed industrial bearings and an integrated Ahead plug. The fork is an aluminum unicrown with a 1" steerer and a trail-tuned angle for balanced steering.
Drivetrain: MicroSHIFT Acolyte shifting comes in a 1×8 setup with a trigger shifter. The cassette has an 11–34 range, and the cranks are forged aluminum 150 mm with a 28-tooth chainring.
Brakes: Promax hydraulic disc brakes in the flat-mount standard improve modulation in the wet and on gravel. The rotors are 160 mm up front and 140 mm at the rear.
Wheels and tires: The wheels use ultralight aluminum rims and hubs with sealed bearings—quick release up front and an axle at the rear. Schwalbe Billy Bonkers 26 × 2,0" tires are folding, with reflective stripes and an all-round tread pattern.
Cockpit: The handlebars are aluminum, 620 mm wide, with tapered ends for smaller hands. The stem is forged, adjustable in both height and length, and the saddle is ergonomic, developed in cooperation with Selle Royal.
The combination of a butted aluminum frame and 26" wheels gives the bike a quick response when pedaling and stable tracking. The 2,0" tires add mechanical comfort and confidence on gravel without significantly increasing rolling resistance on asphalt. The trail-tuned front end makes it easier to stay in control in slower sections and during direction changes. Hydraulic disc brakes support smooth modulation of braking power even with less finger strength.
The bike is designed for more experienced kids and juniors 140–165 cm tall who go on longer rides and mix asphalt, bike paths, and hard-packed forest roads. Thanks to its low weight and 1×8 drivetrain, it also makes sense for sporty commuting and trips with more elevation gain. Compared to typical kids’ MTBs with a coil-sprung fork, it focuses on efficiency, ergonomics, and easier maintenance.
