The 23 mm internal rim width is designed for modern road tires; the manufacturer states compatibility with ISO/TSS tubeless tires in the 28–32c width range, either with sealant or even with an inner tube. The ZR1 SL front hub is designed for disc brakes with a Center Lock rotor mount and relies on hybrid ceramic bearings for smooth rolling.
