On gravel, resistance and vibrations from uneven surfaces slow down the rider. To prevent this, Zipp applied Total System Efficiency specifically to the challenges of gravel roads. The wide rim profile increases air volume, allowing for lower tire pressures without the risk of sliding. This means you minimize surface vibrations while maintaining grip when cornering and traction when climbing. The rim profile also creates a smooth transition with gravel tires for unparalleled aerodynamic efficiency on gravel.

And even though the 303 XPLR S rim is extra wide, it's lightweight to keep you fast and fresh even on long, fulfilling days in the saddle.

The Zipp 303 XPLR SW is compatible only with approved tires.

Ultra-wide internal profile for reduced rolling resistance and the ability to ride with pressures below 30 psi (2.1 bar). The hubs used are the ZR1 type with a CenterLock interface for brake discs. The Zipp ZR1 hub is designed in Germany with an improved seal design for better durability and faster engagement with 66 points of engagement. The maximum tire pressure can be 50 psi (3.45 bar).
