The Zipp 454 NSW front wheel is designed for maximum speed, control, and efficiency in the most demanding racing conditions. Its wavy Sawtooth™ rim profile (53–58 mm) with Hyperfoil™ and HexFin ABLC™ technologies significantly reduces air resistance and increases stability in crosswinds – an advantage you'll feel on every descent or in strong headwinds.
The hookless rim allows for a smoother transition between the tire and the rim, thereby improving aerodynamics while reducing weight. The 23 mm internal width is optimized for tubeless tires of 28–35 mm, providing ideal performance with a 28mm tire at lower pressure, which reduces rolling resistance and vibrations.
The ZR1 SL hub equipped with hybrid ceramic bearings ensures extremely smooth operation and low friction. The result is a wheel that not only accelerates but also absorbs vibrations, conserves rider energy, and enhances overall efficiency.
