BMC Twostroke AL 24 V1 24" kids’ bike is a children’s MTB for cross-country riding and light off-road terrain. It’s built on an aluminum frame and a simple single-chainring drivetrain for straightforward operation. In terms of price, it targets the mid-range segment, where functional components and low weight matter.
The frame is made from Premium aluminium and uses the unique Twostroke geometry for 24" kids’ bikes. The aluminum construction is designed for efficient power transfer and durability in everyday use. The Twostroke AL fork uses a 9×10 mm QR axle, which makes servicing and wheel changes easier. Overall, the concept matches a sporty XC approach with an emphasis on control on the trail.
Drivetrain: The SRAM X4 1x8 shifting system runs a single chainring and eight speeds. The rear derailleur is SRAM X4, and the drivetrain is complemented by a cassette with a range suitable for climbing.
Brakes: Tektro HD-M286 hydraulic disc brakes deliver consistent power even in wet conditions. The lever action is light, which helps smaller hands on longer descents.
Wheels and tires: The DD32 wheelset is built for a 24" diameter and kids’ loads. The wheel concept supports quick acceleration on gravel and stability on rough surfaces.
Cockpit: The SDG Fly Jr. saddle matches children’s anatomy and makes it easier to find a stable position. The cockpit is chosen with a focus on a secure grip and confident control off-road.
The aluminum frame gives the bike predictable responses when pedaling and holds its line as the pace changes. The single-chainring, eight-speed setup simplifies gear choice and supports smooth riding across varied terrain. Hydraulic disc brakes maintain control on descents where precise modulation is needed. The 24" wheels help with handling and allow quick line changes through tight turns.
The Twostroke AL 24 V1 is designed for kids who ride regularly and want a sporty MTB for XC trails and forest paths. You’ll appreciate it on family rides that mix asphalt, gravel, and light terrain. Compared to heavier kids’ bikes with cheap brakes, it relies on hydraulic braking and simpler drivetrain operation.
