BMC UnReStricted ONE gravel bike Grey/Neon Red is a gravel bike built for fast riding on gravel, tarmac, and rough surfaces. It’s based on a carbon frame with comfort-focused compliance features and a simple 1x11 drivetrain. With its spec, it targets a higher performance tier for sporty gravel riding and bikepacking.

Frame and geometry

The foundation is a carbon composite frame labeled URS Premium Carbon, designed for gravel use and high lateral loads. The construction uses Micro Travel Technology and the Tuned Compliance Concept, which increase rear-end compliance over rough ground. The URS Premium Carbon fork follows the same compliance concept and supports precise tracking off-road. Cable routing is internal for clean operation in mud and on long rides.

Components

Drivetrain: Shifting is based on SRAM RIVAL 1 in a 1x11 setup with a Long Cage rear derailleur. The crankset uses a 40-tooth chainring, and the SRAM PG 1130 cassette offers an 11–42-tooth range.

Brakes: SRAM RIVAL HRD hydraulic disc brakes use a 180 mm rotor up front. At the rear, a 160 mm rotor provides balanced modulation on longer descents.

Wheels and tires: DT Swiss 370 Spline Disc hubs are used front and rear for solid power transfer and reliable sealing. WTB Raddler tires in a 40 mm width deliver traction on gravel and confidence on softer ground.

Cockpit: Easton EA50 AX handlebars are paired with a BMC MSM stem for stable handling off-road. A WTB SL8 saddle and a URS D-Shaped carbon seatpost with 0 mm offset aim for an efficient riding position.

The carbon frame with MTT and TCC boosts comfort over small vibrations without compromising stiffness when you get out of the saddle. The 1x11 drivetrain with an 11–42 cassette supports a steady pace on climbs and simple control in technical sections. Wider 40 mm tires help hold a line on gravel and reduce pressure demands on longer bikepacking trips. The 180/160 mm brake rotors increase control on longer descents and when riding with a load.
