BIKE CONVERSION - This is a Brava Advanced Pro 2 model (mechanical Sram Apex shifting) with a frame from the Brava Advanced Pro 1 model (Shoreline color).
In cyclocross races, every slight advantage against opponents is crucial. Competitors need a bike that can perfectly handle quick starts, sharp turns, artificial obstacles, and passages through sand, mud, or slushy snow. If you choose the women's carbon CX special Brava Advanced Pro, you can rely on this bike to handle everything with absolute perfection.
The Brava Advanced Pro model utilizes an innovative Advanced Composite carbon frame with a special cyclocross geometry. This geometry is designed to make it easier to carry the bike on your shoulder and ensure comfort. The "V" shaped downtube is responsible for efficient mud clearance. The same material as the frame is used for the full-carbon fork with an additional OverDrive 2 steerer.
The carbon D-Fuse seatpost provides better vibration dampening than a traditional round seatpost, significantly increasing comfort during the ride. Additionally, the frame is compatible with a round seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm, allowing for the installation of a dropper post. This equipment is especially advantageous on descents, where riding with a lowered seat is more comfortable and safer.
Today's cyclocross bikes typically feature hydraulic disc brakes, which offer strong braking and smooth modulation. Thanks to these, bike control is much easier regardless of riding conditions. The brakes are attached using flat mount mounts and secured with a 12 mm thru-axle to ensure the necessary stiffness and safety.
High-performance raw carbon material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio is used to produce the custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and molded as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
The most advanced steerer tube technology in today’s Giant bikes. Designed to offer unprecedented front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/2” lower, 1 1/4” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in harmony to provide supreme steering stiffness.
The D-Fuse seatpost was designed to absorb road shocks and vibrations so you can ride farther, faster. It works by slightly springing the seat post under load, thanks to its specific "D" shape.
