Superior XR 9.7 GR is a top-notch gravel bike designed for swift rides both on road and unpaved paths. It is crafted with a focus on maximum energy transfer efficiency, confident handling, and comfort even during long rides.
The light carbon frame of the XR series offers a balanced geometry that supports a rapid pace yet remains stable and predictable on varied surfaces. The new XR 9.7 model is built on a redesigned high-grade High-Modulus carbon frame. High-Modulus carbon offers high strength and the lowest possible weight.
The new frame is stiffer compared to the previous X-Road generation. The stiffness is increased primarily by using high-quality carbon material.
The frame incorporates aerodynamic elements. It has perfectly combined the needs of off-road riding with aerodynamic standards. The most significant aerodynamic "gains" come from the redesign not only of the front but also of the rear parts of the frame. The new design minimizes flow separation and air resistance, optimizing performance at higher speeds.
The XR 9.7 frame has increased tire clearance up to 45 mm in width. The new frame meets current trends such as the use of a UDH hanger. The frame is complemented by a new cable routing system.
Everything then exudes a cleaner and more modern impression. Several smart features have also been added, including integrated lighting on the seatpost and fender mounts.
