Ridley Kanzo Adventure Alu GRX400 gravel bike Black is an aluminium gravel bike designed for riding off tarmac, long-distance trips, and bikepacking. It sits in the mid-performance category, where practical spec and frame durability matter most. It’s aimed at riders who want stable geometry and plenty of mounting options for accessories.
The foundation is the Kanzo Adventure Alu 7E8/UNP frame made from an aluminium alloy, designed for off-road loads and carrying gear. The geometry features a slacker head angle and a lower bottom bracket for stability on rough surfaces. A steeper seat tube angle supports efficient pedalling on long climbs. Sizes include XS 51, S 54, M 57, L 60 and XL 63.
Drivetrain: Shifting is handled by Shimano GRX400 in a 2x10 configuration. The crankset is Shimano GRX400 2x10sp.
Brakes: The bike uses Shimano GRX400 disc brakes. The braking system is designed for confident modulation off-road, even with a load.
Wheels and tyres: The bike is built around wide gravel tyres, with frame clearance up to 52 mm. The Forza Gravel Disc fork offers 54 mm clearance.
Cockpit: The controls are tuned for gravel riding, where precise handling is needed even at low speeds. Both frame and fork are designed with cable routing and a clean layout in mind when fitting accessories.
The stable geometry with a slacker head angle holds its line on gravel and rough terrain. The lower bottom bracket increases confidence in faster corners and when riding with bags. The steeper seat tube angle helps maintain an efficient position on climbs. Clearance for wide tyres lets you shift the bike from a fast gravel setup to a more off-road-oriented one.
This bike is intended for more experienced riders who care about tyre clearance, stability, and mounting points for adventures. It’s well suited to gravel marathons, everyday gravel routes, and multi-day loaded bikepacking. Compared to more sporty gravel bikes, it prioritises calm, composed handling off-road and versatility in setup.
