BASSO Tera Siena Tera with a Sram Apex groupset and Microtech MX25 wheels is a gravel bike built for fast riding on gravel, rough backroads, and lighter trails. The concept combines bikepacking durability with a simple 1x11 drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes. With its equipment and a weight of 9.8 kg, it sits in the mid-performance class for experienced riders who care about the balance of function and price.
The Basso Tera frame uses triple-butted aluminum and a carbon rear triangle mounted on a fixed pivot. The rear-end construction works with controlled flex and offers up to 8 mm of micro-suspension to filter vibrations. Internal cable routing supports a clean build and protects the housings off-road. The hybrid frame platform relies on the stiffness of the aluminum front triangle under power and vibration damping via the carbon rear triangle. The fixed pivot and controlled rear-end flex reduce fatigue on long gravel stretches. The 700 x 45 mm tires increase stability on loose surfaces and allow lower pressure for traction. The hydraulic brakes with 160 mm rotors maintain consistent modulation even when carrying loaded bags.
