The Cervélo P5 is a full-carbon triathlon/time trial bike designed for maximum speed and aerodynamics, pushing the boundaries in every possible way.
This model features a new riser, an extension for triathlon bikes, which can be adjusted in the range of 0-30° in 5-degree increments. The new armrests are wider, higher, and thicker for maximum comfort. The larger surface area also leads to better control, allowing more time in the most aerodynamic position possible.
The frame is about one watt more aerodynamic than the previous model. It can accommodate up to 34mm tires, further reducing rolling resistance. Altogether, the bike is up to 5 watts more aerodynamic. The bike also offers plenty of storage options for triathletes.
The new Fastback seat stay design reduces vertical stiffness by approximately 22% (while maintaining the lateral stiffness needed for power transfer). The TT position is relentless (to say the least), but the new P5 will help you transition to T2 much fresher.
The Sram Force kit includes carbon cranks with an integrated Quarq Zero power meter. This integration provides better stiffness, lower weight, and higher accuracy compared to other solutions. Quarq DZero offers power measurement with an accuracy of +/- 1.5%, even in fluctuating temperatures.
