Cervélo S5: THE FASTEST BIKE OF THE MODERN ERA
The Cervélo S5 has one goal - to outrun all others. Under the direction of riders like Wout van Aert, Marianne Vos, and Christophe LaPorte, this model has already proven its superiority. In the 2022 Tour de France, it helped Wout achieve the highest point score in the history of the modern era, with 480 points and a 194-point lead over the nearest competitor. The new S5 model has reduced aerodynamic drag by 65 grams and increased the frame area while reducing weight. Deeper frame sections maximize the shapes allowed by the UCI. The iconic V-stem has been further enhanced, and the new fork simplifies the entire front end of the bike.
Additionally, a breakthrough wheel concept was developed in collaboration with Reserve, improving stability and reducing drag in turbulent aerodynamic conditions.
Every cyclist wants to find the most aggressive riding position. The S5’s V-stem inspires confident handling at high speeds and makes it easier to set up the ideal configuration. All necessary spacers are included with the bike, and the system is 53 g lighter thanks to simpler construction.
The S5 is equipped with 28 mm wide tires but has space for up to 34 mm (measured). The frame is optimized for wider Reserve 52/63 wheels, enhancing both stability and aerodynamic efficiency.
Thanks to new UCI regulations, the aerodynamic profile of the frame has been deepened, and aerodynamic performance has been improved. The new S5 is compatible only with electronic shifting, allowing for sleek design adjustments and better integration of components.
