Offering a balance of lightweight and aerodynamic advantages, this bike truly delivers the "just right" experience. The Soloist is a bit lighter than the S5 but significantly more aerodynamic than the R5 and uses a threaded bottom bracket like you'll find on the R5-CX. It's a race bike capable of both mechanical and electronic shifting, capable of enduring training miles in any weather, and ready to speed up at the perfect moment. That's the Soloist.

The handling geometry for the Soloist comes directly from the R5. R5 is popular among both professionals and amateurs for its stability, precision, and confidence in tackling difficult descents. The Soloist benefits from our decades of developing race bike geometry and is ready to roll from the start.
FAST LIKE THE S5, LIGHT LIKE THE R5
The Soloist sits between the S5 and R5 on the performance scale, but with a price tag that's less "World Tour" and more "road trip". It is 250g heavier than the R5 and 250g lighter than the S5. It is 190g slower than the S5 but 126g faster than the R5. It is the "just right" choice for riders looking for a smart and thoughtful compromise.
The cable routing is inside the frame for better aerodynamics, but it does not pass through the stem. We developed a proprietary system that routes the cables under the stem but through the bearing cap. Whether you're adjusting your position or lending your bike to a friend with a different stem length, you don't need to bleed the brakes for an exchange.
The version with the 105 Di2 set comes equipped with Vision Team i23 Disc wheels.
The Soloist accommodates tires up to 34 mm wide (measured) and wheels wide enough to support them.
The BBRighT-47 bottom bracket, first introduced on the R5-CX, is perfect for those who log many miles without a team mechanic available daily. It ensures easy bottom bracket replacement and extends the frame's lifespan.
