The CHALLENGE 4 STAGIONI road tire in the elegant black/tan (skinwall) finish brings lightness, confidence, and a pleasantly smooth ride to your outings. It’s a tire that can handle rougher roads, cold weather, and long miles. This handmade XP range combines a supple Super Polyester casing, reinforced bead-to-bead, with our SMART HYDRO tread compound that optimizes traction on wet surfaces. Our new Easy-Fit Shape molding process gently pre-shapes the tire for easier installation and inflation.
XP range (Extra protection) means a robust, high-performance tire. Extra protection under the tread and in the sidewalls makes the XP tire the choice for uneven surfaces and gravel roads, where sidewall cuts are common.
Super Polyester with a higher thread density of 220–300 tpi. Polyester is much softer and stronger than nylon, is waterproof, and relatively durable.
SMARThydro compound delivers low rolling resistance like the SMARTprime compound, with improved wet grip.
Gold Armor combines Silver Armor sidewall reinforcement with an inner tire layer between the beads, providing maximum resistance to damage.
The tire is designed for year-round riding when you need reliable wet traction and low rolling resistance on dry roads. The grippy compound and fine all-weather tread provide stability while leaning, so you can confidently push through corners even on damp pavement. Thanks to the TLR (Tubeless Ready) construction, you can run lower pressures for more comfort and better bike control, while also reducing the risk of punctures. The integrated puncture protection layer shields the tread from chips and small gravel.
The 4 STAGIONI TLR model is a road tire in sizes 700×28c, 700×30c and 700×32c, intended for year-round use on asphalt and rougher urban surfaces.
