The Pirelli P Zero Race TLR Classic is designed to maximize all the benefits of tubeless technology in an all-round tire ready for race deployment.
Its performance parameters even surpass all the road tires that Pirelli has introduced in the past, including tubulars. After three years of development in collaboration with the fastest racers on the World Tour circuit, Pirelli managed to design this new tubeless-ready tire with a new SmartEVO rubber compound, offering an outstanding product to professional cyclists and cycling enthusiasts alike!
The primary use of the tire is for performance and racing, with minor use for time trials and endurance racing.
The SmartEVO compound developed by Pirelli uses a blend of 3 different polymers, each providing specific properties to achieve an optimal balance of opposing properties such as grip and rolling resistance. The development of the SmartEVO compound has benefited from a wealth of motorsport knowledge drawn from over 100 years of experience. SmartEVO compound offers improved dry and wet grip, while offering lower rolling resistance.
The most powerful tubeless road construction with a unique design that adds an aramid insert to the rubber layer of the tire. This new structure adds strength and support to the tire, but maintains lower stiffness for minimal rolling resistance and maximum grip compared to tires with Bead to Bead aramid construction. The construction has 120 TPI. Exclusively for PZERO Race TLR.
