Continental introduces its new Argotal from the Gravity series, designed for loose and soft terrain, in various compound versions (Supersoft, Soft, Endurance) and construction variants (Downhill, Trail, Enduro), to adapt tires for a wide range of riders and riding conditions.
Prominent side lugs support stability in aggressive cornering, especially on loose surfaces.
Open tread allows perfect contact with loose surfaces. The benefit is excellent self-cleaning in wet and damp conditions.
Pronounced steep lugs in the center create mechanical grip with loose soil. The result is predictable traction on loose to mixed surfaces.
Downhill is the most durable reinforced carcass construction in the Gravity series!
The Soft compound is soft and is particularly suitable for mixed and loose surfaces.
A rubber Apex layer is added to the carcass, providing the tire with greater stability in corners.
A compound with a balanced ratio of grip and rolling resistance, focused on gravity. Tires with this compound allow you to optimize the rolling properties of the rear wheel during DH and are also suitable for combination with tires for Trail and Enduro.
Top level compound with a perfectly balanced ratio of grip, rolling resistance and durability. It is composed of refined synthetic rubber and natural rubber, to which additives forming a special surface are added. This mixture is produced exclusively at the Korbach plant in Germany.
This technology is based on a rubber layer that is inserted into the casing of the tire. The layer significantly helps to protect the sidewalls against twisting, which gives the tire more sidewall stability. This rigid sidewall then reduces the risk of punctures and keeps the tire on the rim. This protection is most used in DH, Gravity Enduro and Freeride.
Fully adapted for use on electric bikes, certified for bikes with a maximum assist speed of 25 km/h. These tires can of course also be used on conventional bikes.
Tubeless rims and tires have a design adapted for tubeless use, provided they are supplemented with sealant, tape and valves. Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits - the ability to run the tire with lower air pressure, which improves traction, lower rolling resistance compared to a tube tire, and less chance of a puncture. We can most often come across names such as Tubeless Ready (TR or TLR), Tubeless Easy (TLE) or Tubeless Compatible (TC), etc. Despite different branding from manufacturers, the essence of the system is the same.
