Do you want a durable tire that holds the line well and won't let you down when the asphalt isn't perfect? The Continental Grand Prix TR is the ideal choice. Black design with a transparent sidewall and a lightweight Kevlar bead, simply a tire for everyday usability.
On the first few meters, you'll appreciate the fast rolling and feel for the asphalt thanks to the premium BlackChili compound. In the real world, this means more speed with the same effort and confidence when you let it go downhill or push harder into a corner. Peace of mind on rough surfaces is provided by the four-layer technology, which is the ideal combination for fast rides, training, and longer treks.
The Grand Prix TR model is Tubeless Ready, so you can ride it tubeless with sealant or traditionally with a tube – depending on what you prefer. The structure of fine nylon fiber is multi-layered, durable, and sensitive in contact with the road. The tire has a Kevlar folding bead for low weight and compact packaging. The tread is road-oriented, smooth with sophisticated microstructure for stability when leaning and reliable contact on dry and wet surfaces, suitable for year-round use.
The tire is designed for standard road bikes 700C and for tubeless use is compatible with modern tubeless and hookless rims, always adhering to the bike manufacturer's recommendations regarding pressure and mounting.
Top level compound with a perfectly balanced ratio of grip, rolling resistance and durability. It is composed of refined synthetic rubber and natural rubber, to which additives forming a special surface are added. This mixture is produced exclusively at the Korbach plant in Germany.
