Crankbrothers Mallet E BOA enduro shoes for clipless pedals.
MC1 compound sole is designed for use with clipless pedals: it features a large box around the cleats for easy clipping in and out even in mud, and there's a stiff nylon insert under the cleats for excellent power transfer to the pedal. The sole shape is adapted to fit Crankbrothers Mallet pedals.
The tread pattern is designed for use with any MTB clipless pedals, including SPD. The stiff section of the tread under the pedal transfers the pedaling force into forward motion. Softer zones of the sole under the toe and heel with directional tread ensure confident walking uphill and downhill.
For a more comfortable riding experience, the shoes are equipped with a padded EVA insole that absorbs shocks.
The shoes are easily and quickly fastened using the BOA system, which offers precise adjustment and quick foot release if needed for greater comfort. For even better fastening, the shoes feature a Velcro strap.
The shoes are made from durable synthetic fiber. Ventilated mesh panels ensure high breathability. Rubber on the heel and toe provides protection for both the foot and the shoe.
